After the weather report this morning, Central Indiana had the threat of mild temps and sun , I decided to hold off until late afternoon to run.
That was worth it, clear streets, no wind , 40 degrees and bright sun. Spring is getting closer, but we haven't had H.S. basketball sectionals yet, and that is worth 5 or 6 inches of snow, but today was beautiful.
Along with all the nice weather I got to run with the boss. Robin's putting a lot of time in the pool, she is training for the National 10k open water championships being held at Morse this year. Yep 10k, 6.2 miles with your face in the water, 3 hours of swimming. She will do great, but this is her first 10K. Based off her 5k time at Big Shoulders in choppy Lake Michigan ( 1:27 ) her goal is sub 3.
Tonight on the tube, more Olympics, tomorrow morning the Polar Bear Run, not running but working expo area offering all the runners our fine products at a reduced price. New summer goods will be in soon, need to make room for those.
Hope tomorrow turns out just like today , clear and sunny. Today 5k at a slow pace.
