Rain, RainUp at 4:45 , made some coffee, got the paper, let nature take care of me , and out the door. A soft easy rain, but getting off my street was like running in wet, cold quicksand. Two blocks and clear road!
It was really a enjoyable run, just wet. No wind , 38 degrees, hey it's Febuary. My pace was a carry over from yesterday, not barn burning , but a nice 7:30 for 6 miles.
I was still thinking of yesterdays run and the message at church, and just thinking back of early morning runs of the past , years ago. It's all good.
At 57, I think I want to be like Billy, running at 82 and enjoying it.
With the weather forcast for the middle of the week, cold will return, but those days will get fewer and fewer.
