Full Worm Moon

Bet you didn't know this, as the channel 8 weather reported prior my run this morning. This morning was a full worm moon. Description below

Full Worm Moon – March As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.

Well as far as the worms go, and after yesterdays wormfest, the rain has stopped and streets have dried and the lazy worms that attempted to bolt across and paved areas , ran out of moisture to slither across and have now been left dried out , curly , to never see April. The birds don't even want them.

The run, still in the dark, still a chill, but later this week will be tee's and shorts was good.

Nothing outstanding, just good.

I still kept looking at the "Worm Moon" wondering if it indeed has worms , and if it does do they just eat cheese?

Sorry , bad humor

So as Central Indiana people , who can't help but to pull for BUTLER! GO DOGS . It's OK if you jump on the bandwagon this week, just get your shirt at Butler. The money is needed there more than a family in Bentonville AK.
