Good Morning
Well, what a difference a rest day makes. After a restless night of sleep, up with a cup of coffee , read the morning paper and 50 degrees .

Shorts and a long sleeve and out on the golf course . Not knowing exactly what the run was going to be, I headed to the Flowing Well, sight of Tuesdays meltdown.
As I warm up , my legs begin to come back, the temperature was perfect , sun rising so the route changes.
Off to Hazel Dell Parkway, which means the distance has doubled. Heading North up Hazel Dell, which is a gradual grade up, things now feel pretty good.
The rain is heading our way , a pretty good breeze from the north, but even with that my pace continued to pick up. Not fast by any stretch , but smoother and I each mile was a little faster.
At my planned turn to head back, I say , really feel pretty good so I head north further to Cherry Tree Road before I turn back.
Cherry Tree back several years ago was blocked off and turned into a mini Monon for the surrounding neighborhoods. Many races headed up and down this stretch, as it was the way to Noblesville before Hazel Dell.
Back home , each mile a little faster , a touch over 8 miles and your body never lies to you. When it says rest , listen.
8 miles 1:07 and felt really good
congrats on your dino age group win! Whitney
