As I rolled out of bed at 5:45, today I knew I needed to at least finish in the daylight. So I thought of running after work downtown, but history tells me that would have a very good chance of not happening.
So still dark I head toward the east, thru the golf course, and instantly feel pretty good . After a massage yesterday and the use of her pain tools ( Graston ) to really loosen up my lower back, I thought the run would be on the slower side
With my favorite shoes on , the pace was smooth and my back felt nothing. Good work Marcie
Daylight was needed and as I continued east the sunrise was beautiful, under a clear sky. I cannot even dream seeing these kind of sunrises every morning .
It reminds me of the movie Forrest Gump when he was remembering back on is running and seeing the sun rise over the water and the reflections. Pretty cool scene, something long distance runners only experience.
Another day down, and another day closer to spring, 4 days and counting. Ran just south of 5 miles today
