Fog Ice Run

Thursday I decided to wait until evening to run, but got home a watched the stock car races from Daytona, and the qualifying races were held for Sunday's 500.

Anyway it was 5 degrees this morning, COLD, but the good thing there was no wind, and clear roads. As the run started it drew tears to your eyes , but warmed up within the first 1/2 mile. The early icy fog is really pretty to look at, and thru the quiet you can hear the branch's popping.

The hazy sun is trying to come up and now hit the shower and off to work. My morning runs a so refreshing these days , maybe because I am not training to go fast anymore, just have fun and enjoy the outdoors!

It will be the start of the racing season tomorrow with the Mini 5K training run , followed next week by one of the older races in Indy the Polar Bear run .

This gives you a chance to get shoulder to shoulder with your fellow runners , and get a little faster pace on Saturday morning.
