A race, or well a run
With Saturday a snow shovel day , Sunday was going to be my first organized run in at least 3 years, the Groundhog 7 mile run. I have run the past 3 years but runs with a number on my chest hasen't happened. Not that I didn't want to I think, but been there done that. My road racing spirit was gone and I really like my mountain bike . So my small fire is going this year to run all the Dino trail races this year and race my mountain bike the next day . Today was a great sunny day and a chance to get in a crowd again on my run, so my buddy Doug and I were off to Zionsville. The pace was slow, some really slick spots but felt really good , burnt off some calories to make room for my Super Bowl beer and generally a pretty good day. It will be up for early morning run tomorrow, because mother nature looks like she is not done with central Indiana this week, and lots of snow again. I just hope it dosen't force me to the evil treadmill.
GO COLTS
