What a difference a day makes.
After yesterdays less that productive run, today was why you run.
Out the door before 6am, clear roads, no chances of slipping and sliding, and NO TRAFFIC, the road all to myself.
Quiet and a time to reflect on the upcoming day , ask for some spiritual help and give a little thanks for what has been.
This mornings run didn't start out as a planned tempo run, but with all the above on my mind, I was just cruzin' and did it feel good.
Again like the post from last Sunday , memory of runs past surface.
With the weekend approaching, we will see the end of a winter Olympics that has been so-so, ( us runners will always lean toward the cross country skiing ) another Nascar race, another drama about some overpaid pro athletic, and hopefully and long run Sunday without snow or ice.
Another week closer to spring, a week full of runs and now off to a message, my monthly treat.
