Snow Run
The forcast last night was grim, and I was up at 5:30 . On the morning news , school was canceled, so the boss gets to sleep in and I am off on my run. The weather man says 30-30 mile per hour winds this afternoon so a A.M. run is on for sure.
The only good thing about the snow today , its the light fluffy stuff no wind and really good traction . I do wear my super grippy trail shoes that makes the run just like on dry pavement.
In the snow the course of choice is around the Bay Hill lake , but once up on the path the lake looks just like the path, so I should probably get off asap because a ice bath wouldn't be good.
The snow was steady and wonderful to run in , so quiet. As I reach the north end on the lake the view was the same , solid snow.
As I end my run and head down the street I hear snow blowers firing up and this stuff is so light I will just use the trusty snow shovel and than head off to the store .
Runs during a fresh snow are great , if it would just go away by tomorrow. Just think , spring is just 39 days away.
