Prairie View Loop

Another beautiful morning. Out a little later and in the daylight, I head to probably my most favorite place to run .

A short drive over to the River Trail ( we try to keep it a secret from the Monon runners ) and a quick hit of the watch and off I go .

                                                                                                                                                                  Cut Thru off River Trail

winding paths

Prairie View golf course is a awesome place to run, winding   paths , little rolls up and down, and a beautifully landscaped course.

Now this is a private course and generally runners are not welcome, but in the early morning only groundskeepers are out and about, and I have never been threaten with a golf club yet.
Common courtesy and never wanting to told " you cannot run out here " during golfing times I do not even think of traveling the cart paths.
                                                                                                          wooden bridges over water

So the first time out here this year , and it is wonderful. You can easily get 3-4 miles in there, and cover entire course, hop back out and on the River Trail path for another 3 miles.

During the summer this is one pretty run, but I think I will keep on the low down. I really want to keep it pretty much to myself.

5 miles and beat the rain by 5 minutes.
