Easy Run
A little tight this morning , after last night speeding thru Towne Run mountain bike park , in a pack of guys .
The trail was really dry and fast, and I found the edge of traction . The sweeping turn I was leaning into , the front tire slipped, I lifted up to save it and the tree caught the handlebar and over I went dragging my arm across the bark of the tree.
Dang, the pack got away, and for me back on the Niner. Nothing broke on the bike so hammer down to try to catch up.
This happens on the mountain bike, it is just like any sport, you are on the edge and when you cross the line things happen.
As for the run it was slow , a little tight from last night, but out pre dawn and thru what else, a golf course. Its a good first mile , then over to the lake for a loop.
The sun is rising and the lake is crystal clear , with the reflections of the home's in the water. It's a nice 2 miles around the path then back to the golf course to finish.
With the golf course out the door to start runs , it is a great way to start.
Weekend weather should pretty crappy, so long run in the rain may be in the cards
