Adjustment
It's been a couple weeks since my last adjustment. With Dr. Karens maintenance on my back, hips and other assorted parts that keep me training, after my short run this morning I headed to her office.
With 70 miles of running and 60 biking, I was in really good shape.
A turn here and a bend their and off for another week of training.
Over the years these adjustments have kept me going, and pretty much free of injury.
Most people think chiropractic isn't necessary, but when I quit for about a year, it was really tough to run more than 2-3 miles. I would walk around like I was 100 years old.
So now my bi-weekly adjustment will help get me thru the NYC Marathon and all my mountain biking I am hoping to do this year.
Call it what you may, but it works for me, just like my training schedule from past marathons . It is quite a few miles but for me it always worked. So why change , just like your running shoes , if it ain't broke , don't try to fix it. The road doesn't care if your shoes are ugly.
Finished up this evening with 10 mile on mtn. bike at Towne Run.
