NYC Marathon Lottery Day
A nice easy run this morning after a rather large workout day yesterday.
Notification of acceptance into this years NYC Marathon was confirmed, and now the the training plan needs to be executed.
Since it has been 6 years since my last marathon, I will be able to get in a good 6 months to get ready.
Like I have said , I am going back to the training program I had years ago that always worked.
This time the pace and time goals will be much different but the plan will remain the same .
I haven't been motivated to train foe a marathon the past few years , but would always mention to Robin , I really want to do New York, and Boston again.
The one that I have always wanted to do but never pursued is London. Maybe when I turn 60
So if you see me with the leaders this year in New York, I have definitely pulled a Rosie.
No goal time as of now , just get to Central Park, but like earlier this year , I said I was just running and had no interest in races, but once a racer always a racer, just slower.
