Out early on the Monon this morning, and again pretty empty. No spring break yet, the mini is getting closer, don't quite get it.
At last check there is no toll to get on the trail, but maybe everyone is training in the afternoon, or on the dreaded treadmill.
What was out were dogs, on leads, but they were having a great time.
If you have a canine running partner , that would be pretty cool. They always want to get in a run.
My buddy Doug's Mandy is a running machine, in people terms a ultra-marathoner. This girl is a machine. I can always hear Mandy saying under her dog breath, come on daddy Doug, pick up the pace, or only 6 miles, come on!
Then on the trail at the end of the run were a couple 7 week old lab sisters. There day will come, I am sure.
I have always wanted the ultimate running machine, a retired greyhound, a dog that would go on a run. But as I understand it, our cats would remind the greyhound of the fake rabbit's it would chase during races. Probable not good for the cats.
