It is "Smokin Hot" outside . This morning out the door before 7am and it was 88 degrees and 80 percent humidity, and that was without the sun up and burning.
This morning reminded me of our trips to St. Lucia, a beautiful island in the West Indies. Sun rose at 6am and set at 6pm , and its 13 degrees 53" North of the equator.
What that means you are really close to the morning sun, and those morning runs were HOT!!
On top of that St Lucia is basically a pair of mountains , the Pitons, and that make the running extra tough Ahhhh yes, St Lucia has there own beer also, for after those hot, hot runs and its gooood ! This is random, but St Lucia's main export are banana's. They aren't the kind we get here, they are the best I have ever eaten. Sweet banana's and they export them mainly to Australia.
Anyway, after the run this morning a dip in the lap pool. First time for me this year. I keep it clean , and the water sparkling. Ya know the Robin has to have a nice place to workout if she needs to , or the grown kids to bring there buddies to cool off.
I must say , this morning the water was 76 degrees, and after the million degree run, I had goosebumps in the water. It was refreshing !!
Workouts the last 3 days
Runs in AM and hour and a half mountain biking hard in PM at Towne Run and now my back feels really good during the runs. Go figure
