Yep, the weather guys got it right again. After a 5:30 am call from the schools that there was a 2 hour delay, Robin heads back for some shut eye and I have a cup of coffee and decide to hit the road.Its still very dark, but the brightness of the snow is pretty awesome.
So off I go 6am , into the virgin snow. The great thing this morning was the snow was very light so running was no problem.
With my trail shoe on it was no different than the muddy trails during the spring. Just stay forward with your weight on your mid foot and bingo.
The snow was coming down at a pretty good rate and as I finished the 5 mile trip, I was again shedding layers.
All warmed up a quick shoveling of the driveway , a shower and off to work
This kind of snow is great and the temperature was also sweet. Still it is not winter until next week and things won't always be this nice , but hey I can run and feel good doing it
